If only I could talk: CHAPTER 1
Im Chloe Aaro, C.A for short, a mute 14 year old. I enjoy it, sometimes, because my translater, Ms. Reen, has a voice as smooth as butterscotch, flowing, wavy hair , and makeup that doesnt drip or run. She always does my hair, makeup, and talked for me, of course I fussed about it all, but I, eventually, enjoyed it. Kids always became annoyed, I couldn't answer, or express how I felt without using sign language. They didnt know what i meant. I told momma, and she got me a translator, and Ms. Reen have been with me for 10 years.
We had a essay in Mrs.Irene's class, and no one was volunteering to go. Eventually she would make us go alphabetically, me first. Ms. Reen looked at my paper and started rehersing it so she would know what I was signing, and not get lost. My friend, Cali, helped me with my oral essay, and wrote it down, for I was frustrated and angry at "The Bratz". "The Bratz" are a group of 3 girls, who pick on anyone, anytime, anywhere. Lindsay, Coroline, and Haley. They always pick on me when I dont answer, but it doesnt last long, Ms. Reen comes and ruins their reputation all the time. Which gives me joy.
"Chloe, My dear Chloe!" Mrs. Irene said excitedly. Crap. I got up slowly and edged my way towards my translator, which was sitting by Mrs. Irene's desk. I sighned hi, and they signed back. At least Ms. Reen taught them something over break, I thought as Cali explained to Mrs. Irene what happened yesterday with my essay. Ms. Reen stood up infront of the class and dragged me with her, then she began. " Chloe Aaro, August, 7, 2012, All about ME! ". I slugged into a chair and signed everything, as she would be a word behind me. It went on, and on. Eventually I thought that Cali made up this stuff. Im not that awesome, not that nice, and she even but what i supposivly "thought".
Cali finishes, and we go back to class, as Mrs. Irene talks, i doze off.
